I am planning a birthday trip for me and 7 of my friends. I live in south louisiana (about two hours from new orleans) and we are going to NOLA for my 18th birthday. I was just wondering if its hard to get into clubs down there when you are 18, because I know a lot of place are like 21+.

You can get into tons of places at 18, especially if you’re female. A lot of bars and clubs admit ladies at 18 and men at 21. Try the Republic on Friday nights if you’re into 80s music (trust me, it’s an awesome night, and I was never one to like 80s music). You can always wander through Bourbon. Other clubs include Ampersand, Voila, Le Phare, Metro…check the age for the specific night you want to go, though.

Hi! I live in Stamford,CT and I was wondering how much will it cost me to open a night club near the center of the city. Is it a good idea?

Your question is impossible to answer. Get the answers to the following questions and you’ll see if you are a candidate to open a night club.
Have you researched if there is a need for a night club in this area?
How much are you willing to invest?
Have you considered the cost to form a company? Partnership? LLC? Corporation?
Do you have sufficient credit to purchase supplies? Do you think companies are going to offer you credit with no history?
What are your anticipated monthly expenses?
Location? Rent? Utilities?
How much is it going to cost to furnish the interior?
How about advertising costs? Radio? TV? newspaper?
Liability Insurance? Fire Insurance
Do you intend to always be on duty when open or do you plan on employees?
Any idea what it costs to have people work for you? Your share of SSI & Medicare Insurance, Unemployment expenses – Employee fringe benefits?
What are your plans should your competition offer incentives to retain their old customers?
How long can you go without a paycheck?
Just food for thought but dreaming should be faced with reality when you plan such a venture. Good luck.

High School & College Paintball Clubs : I know that in this video I stress a severe amount of caution, and for some people it may even lean towards the pessimistic side. I just want players to understand that it’s not worth your education, or worth the legal trouble of possessing paintball guns on a campus where they are not allowed.

And just because a high school or college has a paintball club, doesn’t mean that you can carry your fully loaded paintball gun to class with you every day.

Yes, hundreds of colleges across the US have paintball clubs and recieve university funding. But there is a right, and a wrong way to go about this. You only get one chance to make a first impression. If you are not an organized person who is good at presenting crazy ideas in a professional manner, DONT DO IT!! Get help or let someone else do it.

When in doubt, don’t push the subject, and just play paintball. You do not need the approval of your university or high school to have your own club. Students form car clubs, eating clubs, drinking clubs, video game clubs, frisbee clubs, there are thousands of “unofficial clubs” that have a great time every weekend without the meddling of administration.

From my experience, for as much effort as it takes to get university funding for as little money you get, you’re better off just holding a car wash.

I am 28 and have a girlfriend. I grew up on house music but now it seems that you are considered old in the clubs yet all the DJ’s like mr tenaglia and Oakenfold are all plus 30 yet teenagers think clubbing is exclusive to their age (UK). Has anybody else found this?

I’m 28yo and i feel the same but i still love going clubbing and getting wasted. Younger people think they have started something new but you`ll know as well as i they ain’t. If you wanna go clubbing matey go for it. I intend to keep clubbing until i die or end up senile, whichever happens 1st.

I would appreciate a young crowd but I am NOT a fan of any place filled with feminine men or drag queens. I just want to meet people around my age who are straight acting maybe try some dancing….

In Dallas, the big gay hub is Oak Lawn. Still, your best bet is to find a gay friend to show you the ropes. If there is an *interesting* gay student organization on campus, look into it.

This is a high-energy non alcoholic country dance club that will be very community based in rural locations.

Identify the largest(s) non profit organizations (hospital, parent-teacher, scouts, churches) and offer to donate a percentage of the sales (10%-20%) from a specific event(s). You can offer contest(s) at the event like filling a large trash can with the beverage and charging a $1. to guess answer. The person who guesses the right answer will recieve a price which leads me to suggesting co-branding with the movie theater or another business to get unique prizes, promote their business, and access to their customer base.

of course not. If she wants to go, den she dosen’t deserve to be yr gf. Who on earth wld do that when she have a steady bf. Unless she’s going out wif a bunch of guys n gals. But if she’s the only gal, its a no no! If a gal do that, i will tink she dont know what’s "disgrace" and "pride"
