Me and my friends are 18 and want to go to a gay/lesbian club but don’t know of any to go to in manhattan. does anyone know of a good one for younger people, where we could dance and have a great time? please and thanks for the help.

i am gay and I’m totally new to the gay clubbing scene!!!
one of my gay friends have invited me to go clubbing with him since long time back and i have been giving him lame excuses ever since! but this time he says that i must come and otherwise he won’t talk to me, and since i am Asian and the day is some Asian theme party it seems!
what do you think i should wear ? should i wear some dark stripped shirt and slack or sake kind of shirt and a denim or some silky shirt?? i am quite large and i don’t feel much comfortable wearing body fit t-shirts!

I’m headed to the gay 90’s and i’ve never been there before..but I hear they have a dress code. So i don’t know if i should be wearing just street clothes or dress up or what???
I checked the website already and there wasn’t anything about it on there… but I talked to some ppl and they said there was one.

wear clothes that would wear to any other club or restaurant, just because it happens to be a club that caters to particular sexual preference doesn’t mean that theirs a uniform or that you have to dress in drag..

most public places as such have some sort of dress code, more often for your own safety, such as wearing shoes and shirt to go into a restaurant.

otherwise there isn’t anything special, unless it’s specifically themed.

Coming in just for the night? Mirabar? Haven’t been out in Providence in awhile. Whats a hot place for young gays on Saturday night?

The Ally cat has mainly older guys. Mirabar has a younger crowd. Haven’t been to any others.
