Why do my parents want to go to the gay club on mother’s day?

I am the only son and I’m gay. My parents love me for what I am but I think it is just weird that they wanted to go to the gay club where I always go to. I think I will feel awkward when they’re around and even though they have no problem with gays its still hard for me to be myself. I also do a lot of crazy stuffs when I’m drunk and I dance like crazy and I don’t want them to see that. What should I tell them?

They just want to go because they love you and they want to support you! I think it’s really sweet. Honestly I’m really jealous But just explain to them what you told us…I’m sure, even though they don’t want to believe it, that they know you aren’t "innocent". You drink, you get sexual, etcetc. And though they support you, they probably don’t want to really see you acting in a way that would force them to see you aren’t their little boy anymore

what is the legal age in california to go clubbing? in a gay club?

im gay and i live in california, IN los angeles i bearly turned 18 last week and i have never gone to a club before .. because i still dont know what the legal age is … so yea any help?? thanks ….

Most clubs in California are 21+.

There are a few that have 18 years old as a minimum.

Check the ads in a local alternative paper.
