Why do they allow seal clubbing an Alaska?

Personally, I’d like to be clubbing the a**holes who are doing the clubbing.

    Clubbing seals sounds horrid but in reality it’s the fastest way to kill the seal with the least amount of pain for them. One swoop and they’re dead before you can say blammo.

    Stop getting your facts off the PETA websites. Those guys are crackpots.

    IMO unless you’re eating the seal there’s no reason to kill it, but it’s not my decision how other people make jackets.

    i dont’ think it’s ‘allowed’, per se. it’s just very hard to stop, most people have no real idea how large alaska is…. it goes on other places in the world too, not just america.

    I think it has to do with heritage but yeah, it is awful, isnt it? Like i know that the Native Americans in my state (WA) are still allowed to hunt whales.
