How do you learn to relax and have fun at night clubs?

I have put my foot in my mouth and promised I would go to a club with my mate for my birthday. I hate the whole scene involved — the dancing mostly. I’m a very quite person and I always fade into the background at these things.

How do you relax and have fun at clubs? I’m very self-conscious and have next to no confidence at all.

I need some tips on learning how to let loose and and not think people are judging me.

Thanks for your help.

- Stick with your friend, if she’s outgoing then stay with her and dancing next to someone can lead to you dancing with them!

- Don’t be afraid to have something too drink, just not TOO much you don’t want to do anything you’ll regret.. just a bit to loosen you up a bit.

- If a song you like comes on, pull your friend and just dance. Whatever comes to you, not like the funky chicken and all that cr*p, just.. smile, and step side to side, laugh, move your hips, loosen up. Have fun. :)

- Everyone is nervous in a nightclub, it’s either their personality or the drink that makes them loosen up.

- No-one will judge you, people dance at nightclubs, don’t be afraid to talk to anyone if they look nice/friendly. :)

You’re better off by-passing and avoiding that scene during your youth, if possible.

It’s mainly an environment of partying, drunkeness and wildness.

For the most part, leave to all the jerks.

Nobody is judging. They are acting retarded as well. Alcohol might also help.

So was I.. I was self conscience and quite. I found out by drinking before you get to the club relaxes you and its cheap also :) it gets you warm up and by the time you get to the club you’ll be wanting to go in and dance instead of worrying who is looking at you. Just have fun. At least your not by yourself having fun.

getting drunk is not a good idea, you’d probably throw up on some hot girl or guy. "HI I am …blarp! oops my bad."

Not a great impression. espcially if it is followed by passing out..

Go and LISTEN to the music, just listen, and watch the dancers, go with the flow..you will relax.
