What kind of clothes do you wear to a gay club?

I’m headed to the gay 90’s and i’ve never been there before..but I hear they have a dress code. So i don’t know if i should be wearing just street clothes or dress up or what???
I checked the website already and there wasn’t anything about it on there… but I talked to some ppl and they said there was one.

wear clothes that would wear to any other club or restaurant, just because it happens to be a club that caters to particular sexual preference doesn’t mean that theirs a uniform or that you have to dress in drag..

most public places as such have some sort of dress code, more often for your own safety, such as wearing shoes and shirt to go into a restaurant.

otherwise there isn’t anything special, unless it’s specifically themed.

The same as you’d wear to any club.
A dress code means no jeans or sneakers, basically.

I would wear something highly erotic and border line inappropriate, but hey, to each his own.

Some places have a dress code. No sneakers, no jeans, no hats would be a little on the stricter side.
