I would like to open a teen night club one day?

I want to open a night club that is for ages 14-18. I have always wanted a place to go party and dance as a teenager. What are the steps to doing this, business wise.

u need a business license

u cant sell alcohol

that place is a haven for drug dealers and pimps

That is a nice idea, and I don’t know the process, but you must have in mind that if you don’t put the right amount of money in it, it won’t work. Good luck with that!

Go to college and get a degree in business. You’ll find all your information there.

OR, you could look up some books used in those classes so you can get an early start.

You would need to get a business license, tax ID number, and more insurance than you could shake a stick at. Then you would need to keep up with your city’s building codes, safety and fire codes, curfew regulations, and noise ordinances. You would need to have the funds to hire, train, and pay your employees. Then you have to deal with overhead costs such as electricity, rent, etc.
In short, you would have to have several backers willing to take a risk or just be independently wealthy.

You need a premises with council permission for it to be used for entertainment purposes. That is your basic requirement and as an alcohol license is not needed it shouldn’t be such a problem other than from the noise aspect

Maybe you could do a club with 17 and under, but its not a really good idea to mix 18 year olds with younger teens. It might not even be legal actually…there aren’t places like this because 18 year olds are obviously legal adults. That’s why in lieu of clubs they have things like chaperoned dances at schools and what not.

If you still wanted to do something like that, you have to start with getting a business license and getting to know the law regarding a places for kids that to hang out since it would be an enclosed area that’s making a profit. There are plenty of books out there you can read about starting your own business.
