It’s for a teen nightclub, and we r doing it one night only for my whole school and i need help!
A Disco ball, strobe lights, black lights…streamers fanning out from the ball to make a canopy over the dance floor…..create masks for eyes made with feathers, glitter, sequins for some ‘mystique" (and a souvenir)…..OR do a Club 747 Theme where it’s transformed to look like the inside of an airline. Guests must have "boarding passes" to enter. (Can combine both…I went to a club like that–but without the masks
.
create a backdrop where photos can be taken—-also have a bunch of cameras where people can capture the memories of the evening. Have a dance contest.
Mocktails for beverages (non-alcoholic, but look like the real thing and taste great:…20 best recipes here: http://allrecipes.com/Recipes/Drinks/Mocktails/Top.aspx
Food: (are people bringing the dishes? is it being catered for that many?)….hard to say what to do unless you have sandwiches cut for party size (like subs)…or a cold cut platter with salads (but then you have to take care the food is kept at proper temperature for safety). Pizza slices, wings, crackers & cheese, dips and chips. Some finger desserts: cookies, brownies, bar cookies like this: TRIPLE LAYER COOKIE BARS
Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1-1/2 cups graham crackers crumbs
* 1 (7-oz.) package flaked coconut (2-2/3 cups)
* 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
* 1 (12-oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
* 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350° (325° for glass pan). In 13x9x2-inch baking pan, melt butter in oven. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over melted butter. Top evenly with the coconut, then sweetened condensed milk. Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. In small saucepan, over low heat, melt the chocolate chips with peanut butter. Spread evenly over hot coconut layer. Cool 30 minutes, then chill. Cut into bars. Store cookie bars loosely covered at room temperature.
Makes about 36 triple layer cookie bars.
