When or why will a person be asked to leave a nightclub in australia?

My friend was asked to leave the nightclub at a bar here in australia. I wonder what could have triggered that. Could it be because he asked the contact number from the female bartender who was working at that time?

There is NO situation either male or female staff go to work to be ""hit on "" by patrons to thier work.
They are thee to offer and give a service and nothing more.
Just because it serves alcohol, does not make a business a staff meat market.
Aussie female staff in licensed premises have 1 thing a patron does not.
100% back up from that huge bloke at the door.

depends how he asked, if he was really hassling her that may be the case. also if you are visibly drunk, being offensive, causing fights.

That would be it mate. A lot of clubs don’t like their staff to be hassled by patrons, drunk or not. Female staff in clubs are a no go zone. Your mate might want to remember that before he gets flogged by a bouncer.

Maybe. There’s real crackdown on alcohol related crime here, mainly because drinking is such a big part of our culture so if he was hassling her, constantly asking her, becoming at all abusive etc, he could have been thrown out in a blink.

The best thing to do in nightclubs etc here is to have a good time, but not at the expense of others. If they’re not interested, back off…

Female staff are PEOPLE, treat them as such!
