Located in Barrio Mexico, Discoteque Castro’s is a fun place to either dance, or even watch others swing to some great salsa music. This place gets hopp’in. We always recommend taking a cab when enjoying the San Jose nightlife, club to club to your hotel, it’s the safest way to travel around at night, and fairly cheap. So, venture off the beaten path a little, and ENJOY a little latin flavor. Pura Vida.

Pyrotechnics causes deadly Russian Nightclub fire

Fountain type pyrotechnics fireworks causes a Russian nightclub fire that kills 101. I just don’t think pyrotechnics of any kind is needed in any small nightclub to enhance a band’s performance. Colored lights and/or technology of that type is fine. Just my opinion.
